I am an avid fly fisherman and Southern Oregon's mild weather and incredible rivers made it almost impossible for me not to move here. I worked in the film industry (both print and commercials/videos) for over thirty years. I wore many hats during this time. From a camera assistant, still photographer, location scout, producer, 1st assistant director, to finally owning my own production company that specialized in national ads and sales brochures for the automotive industry. One of my most frequent clients was Mercedes-Benz. <br /> I had already owned three of these fine cars before I started to sell them here, only four short years ago. It was an easy progression for me knowing the product as well as I do and having Mercedes-Benz to thank for both my daughter's life and her mother's. They were both in a severe high speed crash with a big rig that hit them at 60+ mph. My wife was six months pregnant and left the car with only bruises and my daughter is a healthy 15 years old now. The CHP responding to the accident simply said, they would not have survived in any other car". I was born and raised in Southern California, veteran of the USAF, attended Cal Poly University Pomona, Rotarian and graduate of numerous auto industry schools. I owned and managed an automotive battery manufacturing company with operations and sales in California, Hawaii and Arizona. After selling our battery business, I entered the auto dealership world, spending the last 25 years as a Fleet Sales and leasing manager at two G.M. dealerships. With this experience, I am privileged to join the staff of Mercedes-Benz of Medford. My responsibility will be joining with our staff in introducing the new Sprinter line of Passenger Vans, Cargo Vans, Buses and Chassis/cabs.
